SIRIO LX

Obstacle Detection System for Level Crossings  

SIRIO LX is a radar -based automatic system for preventing train from colliding with obstacles on the track at level crossings. It has been designed to ensure the highest level of safety standard (SIL4, CENELEC 50129)

SIRIO OD

Automatic detection of obstacles on the track

Sirio-OD is a radar-based system for the automatic detection of objects which have fallen onto railway tracks in high-risk zones such as overpasses, tunnel entrances and exits and zones prone to landslides. Sirio-OD has been designed to ensure the highest safety standard (CENELEC 50129, SIL 4).

Architecture

A Sirio-OD node is composed of 2-4 radar sensors (RSR Radar) and one outdoor cabinet. 

It is possible to install more nodes on the track, each node being independent and directly connected to the signaling system. Each node transmits information to a Remote Control Unit via LAN or GSM-R

DeJamm-R

DEtection of JAMMing in Railway Network

DeJamm-R is an autonomous device that continuously monitors the GSM-R band, used for ERTMS/ETCS (European Rail Traffic Management System/European Traffic Control System) Level 2.

It consists of a passive receiver, based on SDR (Software Defined Radio) architecture, where real time DSP (Digital Signal Processing) algorithms run to make channel power measures, identify jamming (*) and collect useful data to detect the QoS of GSM-R signal.

Dejamm-R sends the collected data to a remote MOnitor Center (MOC) via E1/ETH where they are stored in a database and they are available for analysis.

Dejamm-R should be installed along the railway tracks of high-speed lines between two BTS or in the neighborhood of a central station where usually the interferences grow up.

DeJamm-R is a 24/7 device, that automatically provides indications about possible interferences and it could be used for data analysis to check the causes of problems occurred along the railway track and for monitoring the QoS in a schedulable time period.

ADS

Acoustic Detection System
 

ADS is a passive A coustic D etection S ystem which is able to recognize and localize impulsive sounds such as gunfire, providing real time alert of hostile fire or sniper attack position enabling a rapid, informed and coordinated response. It is characterized by a set of microphones which acquires the sound sources and processes the signals sending the information (elevation and azimuth angles) to a local device. Moreover, when networked, this information can be transmitted to an operations center or to a situation awareness platform.

ADS allows complete and accurate situational awareness and individual safety with the following advantages:

D.I.A.N.A.

Intecs has developed DIANA (Digital Instrument for Automatic Network Analysis): a test bench to automate the validation process of network layer of the control units.

D.I.A.N.A. is the integration of two distinct subsystems, the S/S-HW, constituted by a National Instruments PXI system and by a connectivity panel, entirely designed and developed by the HW Intecs laboratories, and the S/S-SW constituted by Client/Server; the client is constituted by an application, developed on Eclipse platform, while the server allows to control directly the hardware NI during tests.

The scripting language used to develop tests, based on a subset of C language commands, provides a set of commands to drive the PXI boards and to execute macro-functions, e.g. to launch a sequence of operations to connect/disconnect the power supply, to provide the "key-on/off" signals, to import messages/signals from a CAN database. The tool generates a report with link to log file CAN (.asc format).

Each report is digitally signed and it is possible to export it in pdf and html format. D.I.A.N.A. has also a textual/graphical viewer of dbc files that allows to navigate and access the information contained in these files.
